I have a used LG 32" with the same resolution that I can sell for 200$

Personally, I would go go for a better monitor with a higher resolution

Meh... what part of the country are you in OP?

If I knew I could possibly direct you to local deals.

I have access to my wife's LG 32QK500-W 32-Inch QHD (2560 X 1440) IPS Monitor sitting on the same table but find it huge for what I do. Thanks for the offer.

How about a 27" 4K monitor?

I find 1920x1080 on 27 inch provides an image that is a bit course. A 2560x1440 27 inch is pretty much ideal. If there is a $ budget constraint, I'd stick with another under $200 IPS panel 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 monitor or think outside of the box.

As in, why not a 21:9 ratio monitor for something different.
