Should I upgrade to Pure Fiber 300

I am currently using Telus Pure Fiber 150 Internet. My wife like to watch Korean TV dramas. She usually used her phone or tablet to access her favorite TV at gimy.cc and she sync it through a Google Chromecast to the TV in the living room. She keeps complaining that the loading of the Korean TV is lagging and always with a hour glass.

May I know if I upgrade the speed of the Internet to 300, would this resolve the whole issue for her ?

Try to keep happy, happy wife, happy life.

If you have serious bandwidth bottlenecks, maybe (you probably don't).

150 is tons for just that, assume the rest of the network isn't being slammed.

Probably a better idea to setup Sonarr / Couchpotato and download onto a NAS / Home Server. A lot more effort though

How many people sharing the internet? Is it smooth when she only watches only on her tablet?

Maybe the problem is with gimy.cc

Just because you have fast internet, doesn’t mean they will give you full bandwidth. (150 or 300 Mbps)
