Silicone lube from treadmill - hardwood floors slippery like ice

My treadmill is in laundry room on linoleum tile. It frequently needs lube... silicone... I think the silicone gets on floor and shoes and feet... now the rest of my home is like a skating rink... my home is 90 percent hardwood and fake haRd wood aka laminate... any ideas on de-icing my floors... like in socks this place is super slick!

Get hardwood flooring cleaning kit (Bona) & that should clean everything off. Spray on the mop not on the floor.

More to the point - why does the treadmill need such frequent lube. Just stop exercising!

Seriously it sound like you are lubricating way too frequently or too much.

I tried the Bona in spray bottle but didn't seem to help that much any other ideas?
