Similar design features between escape and model y

Is it just me, or does the model y look like an escape with a grill delete

Anything with a trapezoidal grill outline screams Aston Martin.

At least Ford paid for it.

Most SUV look similar.

They look nothing alike. This isn't a Hyundai photocopier machine move here.

Reminds me more of a Porsche SUV frontend than Tesla

You can tell which is which because the shut line on the Escape hood is even.

Currently driving a new Escape Hybrid - surprised how much it runs on electric for only a 1.1kWh battery. This is down to the fact battery is liquid cooled and can absorb enertgy faster during regen braking.

A bunch of those are not CUVs but I am interested you use the term CUV in the context of a Model Y discussion.

Only thing the vehicles pictured have in common imo is they are all whilte with black trim and all have wheels, windows and bodywork etc.

A Grand Cherokee which is on your photo list is very diiferent in looks to a Model Y or Escape for example.

Yup. Same with sedans and coupes. Everything bland and from a cookie cutters.

This is one thing I like best about pickups. They don't dare look like a copy of the competition.
