100% agree. An actor of his magnitude deserve his own thread instead of being buried in the 2020 In Memoriam thread.

The first of anything sets the bar for the following and Sean Connery is no different. Without him I doubt the James Bond film franchise would be as successful as it is today. His shoes were never filled by subsequent actors who portrayed James Bond.
Have a nice day!

He was great in Bond, and later so many movies to his credit including The Last Crusade, "Indiana? we named our dog Indiana".

Too boring?
It had an interesting feint to avoid too many subtitles

This was not from one of his Bond movies, but a 007 one none the less.

Loooove that movie, Mycocaine (sorry, Michael Caine) was also amazing in that one.
Also liked him in other less known roles such as Outland, but he will always be The Best Bond.

Going to watch Zardoz this week, have never seen it fully and it is such a good meme lately.
c'mon get happy!

RIP great man,
I'll never forget a phrase from (I think) the Oscars ceremony:
''The name's Connery. Sean Connery''
Gotta dig my movie library tonight to watch again something with him...
... and the choice is..
''The name of the rose'' one of the best movies I've ever seen.

Never seen him as James Bond. Roger Moore is my favorite Bond.

In fact, I only saw a few of his work. THE UNTOUCHABLES is my favorite. Love him in THE ROCK as well. The other movie is the one with Catherine Zeta-Jones.

RIP Sir.
