Thanks OP.
10 minutes got me a quick refund on my service that was auto-renewed.
Following Steps:
1. Called 1-888-539-7474
2. Press 1 (English) then 3 (Accounts), then 2 (Account Inquiries).
3. Told the guy on the other end. "My account was just auto-renewed. I would like to use Promo Code SXM60 to pay less for my current package."
4. He asked what plan this was for.
5. I told him "SiriusXM Select plan for 1 year."
6. He refunded the difference on my card.
7. He told me to call back just before my renewal date next year and do this again.

Bluegrass, 40s music, and chill mostly. Although, I listen to a bit of the electronic, classical, yoga channel,

I don't really care about Sirius because I have CKUA in Alberta.
However since CKUA started a campaign to trick people into signing them into their will, I'm rolling back my support massively. Because I think it's unethical. It's just a radio, dammit!
Anyway I also have CJSW (University station) or else AM660 which has news/weather/traffic. What do I need Sirius for?

I have a teenager who just loves the 80s on 8 or the 90s on 9 or the 00s on 10.
So whenever I can get a few free months I do it.

I just got a new Mazda CX-5 the other day that came with a three months subscription/trial. If I got this would this add or replace my current 3 months?

Major offtopic but I am super curious how an AM/FM station can possibly "trick" people into signing up?
Its on the radio, its free. Asking for donations is trickery?

(And trying to compare a handful of AM/FM stations to satelite is just not even close anyways in sound quality or selection but that is a whole other topic
Even a streaming service would be a huge step up from regular radio)

Thanks Op, I had let my subscription lapse in May. $76.75 all in for a year is not bad.

They signed me up for the 12 for $60 but then I realized it’s a watered down version, missing allot of channels I listen to. Does anyone know the best deal on getting all the channels, they call it ALL ACCESS?

I've been on 6 for $30 for a couple of years now. I only use the app and stream with CarPlay in my vehicle which I like. Use it enough to warrant that cost but certainly not the cost of full price. Technically this offer is for a physical radio, not sure if it comes with the App or not??? Regardless easy enough to get the deal (or 6 for $30 at least)
Wait what? There's an app? Lol
Can I bluetooth then? Hmm

Why would anyone pay for this instead of Spotify and Pandora? Genuine question, maybe there's something I'm missing.

Don't need data for this? The specific collection and programming? Works anywhere in the world?

i think it replaces, wait till you are expiring to renew. grats on your new vehicle. it's fun once it breaks in, mine was very rigid and firm for the first 5000 but it broke in nicely.
