Small Business Cellphone Deals (Rogers, Telus & Bell)
Hi. I have been trying to get a good small business cellphone deal for 2 lines. With the new plan and phone structure, the hopes of getting the deal I got back in 2018 with loads of small business credits is totally crushed.
I tried to reach out to Rogers, Telus and Bell (I am currently with bell so I reached out to their loyalty department) to see what is the best option available for me out there. Here is the summary of what I was offered (I haven't taken any of the deals yet). These are all ON plans.
Rogers Small Business plan - 20GB each line
1st Line
Plan Cost: $75 + Tax
iPhone 12 (Device Return Option): $32.34 + Tax ($460 at the end of 2 years if you want to keep the phone)
2nd Line
Plan Cost: $50 + Tax
iPhone 12 (Device Return Option): $32.34 + Tax ($460 at the end of 2 years if you want to keep the phone)
Credits
3 Months of free plan ($75 + $50 = $125 + Tax)
Free Airpods ($150 X 2 = $300)
Telus Small Business plan - 20GB each line
1st Line
Plan Cost: $65 + Tax
iPhone 12 (Device Return Option): $28.13 + Tax ($460 at the end of 2 years if you want to keep the phone)
2nd Line
Plan Cost: $65 + Tax
iPhone 12 (Device Return Option): $28.13 + Tax ($460 at the end of 2 years if you want to keep the phone)
Credits
$200 bill credit per line ($200 X 2 = $400)
Free Airpods ($150 X 2 = $300)
Bell Small Business LOYALTY/RETENTION plan - 20GB each line
1st Line
Plan Cost: $70 + Tax
iPhone 12 (Device Return Option): $20.12 (taxes included)
($460 at the end of 2 years if you want to keep the phone)
2nd Line
Plan Cost: $50 + Tax
iPhone 12 (Device Return Option): $24.82 (taxes included)
($460 at the end of 2 years if you want to keep the phone)
Credits
None. They already applied the $400 off device credit on 1st line and $300 off device credit on 2nd line ($400 + $300= $700). That is why the iPhone 12 monthly cost for Bell Loyalty/Retention is the lowest.
After doing the math, it looks like if you go with any of the above carrier, you will end up paying close to $180 (taxes included) for 2 lines with 20GB data each and iPhone 12 with device return option.
If you are not in the need of a new phone, then I would suggest to go with FIDO/VIRGIN BYOD plans of $40 for 8GB per line per month for the first 10 months with no contract.
Hope this will help people in understanding what is out there currently.
