Noticed that some chinese smartphones are on sale at ********. They are having a promotion/contest also but the pricing on the smartphones is what caught my attention.

Some phones that caught my attention:

5.5 inch Mlais M7 Android 5.0 4G LTE Smartphone 64bit - $200.37

Mlais M4 Note Android 5.0 Lollipop 4G LTE Phablet 5.5 - $162.80
http://www.********.com/cell-phones/pp_149576.html

Huawei P8 Lite Octa Core Android 5.0 Dual 4G LTE Smartphone - $286.80 (I really love this phone. I wish it was in a lower price point!)

Note that these are the CAD prices, if you are paying with your credit card. If you are too afraid to give your CC to them, you'll have to pay in USD via Paypal (and pay more).

It will serve as a bare bones smartphone... But 4GB ROM is pretty sparse. You're not going to have much room for apps on there.

Also...

Does ******** have the right specs on that phone? The specs they list have no 3G or 4G support here:
3G WCDMA 900/2100MHz
4G FDD-LTE 1800/2100MHz

Im pretty sure it wont have LTE here. Not having 3G is probably correct too. I just like the build of the phone and look. I basically use one phone for work (and its just for calls, local text) and my main phone at home with LTE data (LG G3). So that's why these chinese phones suit my needs.

Ahh... Then yeah, I'd want the price to be *significantly* lower if I was only going to use it on 2G or wifi. Lol.

I agree! Is the P7000 your daily driver now? I use my bluboo x550 during the day. LG G3 during the evenings/night.

The Be Touch 2 is my current daily driver. Battery life isn't as good as the P7000, but it's also way lighter. Hard to say which I prefer. P7000 also has a horribly quiet speaker/ringer. I'm constantly missing calls and messages.

I dont feel like the prices are any different from normal. The Mi4i and Lenovo K3 Note are actually more expensive.

I'm not sure where you're getting that from - the K3 note is under $154US (that's regular price now) - and the yellow one is on sale for $149.99US with coupon code LK3NOTEGB as well.

Yes, it works on Rogers (LTE 2600). I used it myself. It's a bit of a pain in the butt in terms of updating roms and debloating, though. See the owners thread that I started

The prices in the OP are in CDN dollars. The prices on the site depend on what currency you're set to (defaults to USD)

Custom roms is hardly supported on chinese smart phones. I think the p7000 was suppose to get MIUI
