Snowblower Chute Problem

So i purcnased a snowblower last year from the walmart deal. However see the video. Chute is able to move 45 degrees by itself....... What is wrong? Why?

anyone having a loose chute???

Our MTD yardworks gold is sloppy as well, but not nearly that sloppy. It was friggin expensive 10+ years ago.

Need more info, what kind of mechanism is it? Could be cable or gear box issues. Should have bought an Ariens.

Man c'mon get a better video you can barely see the chute in that.

I say that because I can't see where the slack is happening, I can definitely see the crank move a bit.

If I remember correctly I think there's a spring that gives the chute tension, and the crank pushes the chute against the spring. The spring could have unclipped.

Was the poulan pro from Walmart deal. Less than 1 year old.
