[Walmart] Snowblowers @ Walmart Reduced (WPG)

I was at Walmart in WPG (Regent) and asked the guy to scan the snowblowers. I bought a 8.5HP 24" cut Yard Pro for $534 or $600 taxes in. The original sticker said $897.00 so I saved about $400.

All the machines are cheaper when scanned. They had $1300 marchines for around $800.00. I didn't need something that big.

Let it snow baby!

I've discovered that the Yard Pro is actually a Poulan Pro. They look identical in the pictures.

Pollution? You've gotta be kidding me... But also think of how many times next year you're NOT gonna be breaking your back doing the driveway while your neighbours are sweating...

Picked a 26" 8HP Yard works this morning. The tag said 997, they scanned it at 697, then rescanned it with a different scanner, at my request, and it came up as $598.00. They said that they still had 11 'in stock' but that 'in stock' may mean on a truck, in a bin, in other words they didn't know. I got one in a box, and as I was leaving someone bought the floor model.
UPC was 6242950807 - they were green (like most yard works) I think this is a pretty good deal.

This was at Saskatoon - Preston

I just picked up the Brute 27" 8.5hp snowblower from the Walmart in Collingwood, Ontario.
Great deal, was still marked at $1097, scanned for $658. 40% off.
They still had one more in stock, and the bigger 29" 10.5hp one for $778.
Thanks OP.

Anyone that works at walmart or knows someone, that has an idea when next reduction will be? Just wondering if i should pick one up now, or wait a bit longer and risk less selection to save more....

Spring is almost here? Perhaps you missed it, the OP specifically mentioned that this was in Winnipeg.

Picked up a 8.5hp at Unicty (Wpg) yesterday afternoon for $658 regular $1097. They still had one left. McPhillips had a damaged 8.0hp they were willing to let go for $500 regular $1097.Plastic by the controls was split. Don't think it would be an easier repair.

Is it the same model that is on sale in this week's flyer for $997? How is it? Any comments from people who have used the Brute snowblowers would be welcome.
