Whats everyone think about this new remote? I think it looks promising. Since Logitech is out of the game there is not much out there.
I hate that they are starting on Kickstarter tho. I haven't had good luck with it in the past.

So It starts on Kickstarter, then in a few months they are selling it on Amazon.com at MSRP. There will be a deal on Kickstarter for 50% off ($95usd).
If you signup before launch for $1 then you are supposedly guaranteed the discount on Kickstarter. If you back the project within the first 48hrs then you also get free shipping.

Seems like it could be a hot deal. But because it's Kickstarter it's RISKY. I paid the $1 but I still haven't decided if Im getting one yet.

I've been watching this closely. And will probably grab one if I can get in at that price. I reserved for $1 so we will see on launch.

With the hub this is the closest I've seen to a Harmony replacement, but hopefully they have an API so it can be integrated with home automation systems.

We will see.

Same here. If they don't add it I will probably have to pass. We use voice search all the time. So does my 4yr old.

Well since it seems like logitech is no longer servicing the harmony remotes, this may be a favourable option.

I'll reserve for now and see what happens.

The kickstarter is live for "VIP" members or whatever. I grabbed one remote, hope I don't get burned on this. I swore off Kickstarter awhile ago and I'm only going back on that because the universal remote market is so dire.

I don't understand this "VIP" members.
Anyone can go on and back it. Seems like they have an unlimited supply of 50% off deals. That doesn't seem normal.

I'll try it out and if I don't like it I'm sure it will sell really easily.
I really wanted a good remote that had a microphone. I can't find one, if I can't do without I will just have to get a cheap one.

Thanks OP, I got one with free shipping. I guess we'll see if it pans out. My One is still working fine but I fear at some point it'll stop, and I'll be very sad. Hopefully this thing will be a good (or better, with the hub) replacement.

Someone on Facebook just said that there is not going to be IR on the remote itself. Only on the hub.

I don't know if I should keep this now.
