Sofirn flash light is doing extra 15% off with code for there Canada warehouse inventory.
Use code W2H4FORO at check out.
I had a SP31v2 at work for 3 or 4 years, it is very bright and reliable.
This time I pick up the SP36 pro 8000 lumen, $48 USD after 15% off.
Not all time low, but with 15% off, it will match the pre-pandemic price.

Update: for non Canada warehouse inventory, if you leave something in the cart and do not check out, they will send you a 10% off coupon via email.

damnit. I got the LT1 and their AA flashlight.

I really don't need anything else, since I already have other lights. but its a sale.

good thing none of the headlights ship from Canada or I would have wasted money on another light.

The lantern's great. During the pandemic, I've been using it as a fill light for my webcam in video meetings/presentations, and the tint ramp lets me easily match my preference for warm/cool light at any given time and keeps the lighting looking natural. +1 for the BLF SP36 as well, it packs a ton of light for its size. For those unfamiliar w/ enthusiast flashlights, do be aware that many of these lights have their own operating system (the most popular one is called anduril, if you want to look into it) that's based on pressing/holding the power button a corresponding amount of times to get different effects, settings, etc. (so there'll be a bit of a learning curve, but it's not too bad), and that they take 18650 batteries.

Is that in USD still?

Wish they had the HS05 from Canada as well. Such a nice little lamp, and I like being able to use either 14500s or AAs.

The LT1 lantern is by far the best camping lantern I’ve ever used. Highly recommended.
I sometimes use it around the house just because the color temp is so nice.

The SP36 has a great floody beam. My go-to dog walking light.

You’ve been warned though, sofirn is a gateway to a deep hole of enthusiast flashlights!

I have 7 of them, most of the entire range. One had failed a bit by skipping one of the settings but was quickly replace.

They are honest, great quality and a great company overall. Highly recommend them.

BTW...I'm trying to find a reasonably priced 26650 battery and no success. It's actually for the flashlight that skips a setting. Still usable...if had a battery for it.

If you leave something in cart and do not check out, they will send you a 10% off code via email. However it will ship from China if it is not for Canada inventory. And yes it is in USD.

BTW...if you buy the Q8Pro, you will be able to blind Russian satellites. I'm kidding...maybe.

These are very powerful flashlights and are at another level from what we use to have with regular batteries. A few years back I decided that I should get new flashlight for the car so I bought the Q8 that was "only" 8000 lumens. Just wow. Shockingly bright. Then went on a spree and bought a total of seven from their lineup.

I also bought a smart charger but now you don't need one with their built in charger. They are lithium batteries so treat them with respect. If you are not using them all the time, make a habit of recharging them once a year. Be extra cautious you don't leave them on top of a dash in the sunlight. Don't give them to your kids to play with because they are very powerful and can hurt them. They can actually start a fire if you put them on top of a newspaper.

One of the safety precautions is to unscrew them until they don't make internal contact. It's a fairly long thread so they won't come apart. Also eliminates parasitic drain on the battery. Then just a few turns and it's ready to go.

One thing that you need to know if you are a first time buyers of this category of flashlights. They are extremely powerful for their size and they will get hot in a hurry. They have built in step down so don't go back to the manufacturer whining that they are somehow defective. If they didn't step it down, you would burn your hands and set the battery on fire. They will give you full power for a few minutes then start stepping down. If you want to go for a walk, just run them on lower power. Or get a bigger flashlight. There is definitely a relationship between power and size. The bigger flashlights have more aluminum to absorb the heat and the surface area to dissipated it. Choose your need in terms of power and size. I recommend the bigger the better but....be aware of bulk and weight.

Buy, Enjoy. Be careful. And don't point them at satellites.....

I'm creating a need to buy the SP36Pro. I think I need to buy it just in case my fingers get shorter and I NEED those 8000 lumens to go looking for my house.

Yup...that's it. Buying one...

Wow I picked up 2 LT1 back in 2020 from amazon.ca for $80ea no tax. Well worth it though. Use it primarily for camping and they last forever. Not sure if the new ones are still the same, but you can do a simple mod on the pads in the head to increase output.

sofirn has sales often, its one of those brands that overprices the MSRP and sells most things at sale price, so 15% is not exactly hot, its luke warm. however, they are one of the best budget brands for flashlights, so they are not expensive to begin with, and they dont often have HOT sales for canada anyway (quite often for amazon.com, go figure), so essentially you can consider their 15% off as regular price, and that they just dont go on sale. only exception being, before they backed out of amazon, you used to be able to just casually ask their rep for a 15% coupon code for every order. and if you use it when the lights go on sale themselves, then its an actual sale price, i got an LT1 for like $56 CAD, ofc this was also back when amazon.ca didnt charge tax for most products that came from china.

another way to buy them at their cheapest is wait for the november 11th festival, and buy from their official store on aliexpress, combine the coupons and their reduced prices, thats usually as cheap as it gets for canadians.

lastly, about some of their popular lights that i had experiences with:

must buys:
LT1: for camping, or power outage in the house
SP35: very efficient regulated driver, very bright, last a long time, doesnt get hot

good buys:
SC31 Pro: not as good of a driver as SP35, but its smaller, more pocketable, and uses anduril UI, which has many interesting cool features, though there is a learning curve, it can usually be had for much cheaper than the SP35, makes good gifts for friends to just carry one in their bag/purses cuz u never know when u gonna need a flashlight
SP36 BLF: this one is not for me personally, but many people like a good soda can light, and this is the go to (note, theres many different variations of SP36, only the BLF, for better tint and high CRI, and the Pro, for max amount of lumens, are worth buying IMO)
SP70: solid all around light, pretty massive, decent throw, decent lumens, lasts a long time, makes a very good gift for fathers or elderly men in general if they like the good ol' maglites for their size and durability

others:

Q8 Pro: basically a bigger version of SP36, not worth the price difference IMO
SF47T: pencil beam thrower, also very good driver, but not very practical, unless you want a beacon light to last for like a few hour straight, but its not even that bright, just throws far
SC21: tiny size light, can be on keychain, its cute, but lack of LVP makes it not so battery friendly unless ur very aware of ur battery level and recharge on time
