I would rather not use email. I can provide more info here or in a direct message.

Most links in most emails work fine. Only a few are broken. In this case, the link is for a thread that has a special character in the title: ™ after UltraFine. Could that be the reason?

I haven't seen special characters mess up deal alert links before but that may be what happened here. I'm going to ask someone more familiar with the deal alerts back end about this.

Does the AOC thread link also not work for you or was it just the LG thread?

Just the LG thread. A quick look at that link shows that it is structured differently from the other links. Typical forum links have "https://forums.redflagdeals.com/" + compact-form-of-thread-title + -number. The link for the LG thread is missing the compact thread title text. Maybe the thread title text got dropped because of the special character and the link will not work without it.

The thread itself is still there in the forum: the-source-lg-ultrafine-i-27uk500-b-27- ... 9-2479193/

Just wanted to post that a ticket has been created to fix this and I'll share another update once it's been resolved.

Update: Resolved!

Thanks. The error message is easy to reproduce. Take the link to any forum thread and remove the text corresponding to the thread title. Loading this modified link will produce the same error message. For instance, here is the modified link to this thread: -2479493/

Clicking on it will produce the same error. So the question mainly is: why are some (just a few actually) of the links in topic alerts in this incomplete form?
