Someone came to drop off a letter, suspicious and odd.. any ideas?

It could've been a process server or a courier but they asked for my brother and another family member by name and left this envolope with no return address on it. It's a chunky envolope, and the guy was wearing normal clothes.

Any ideas on what this could be? Family are worried. Thanks in advance.

open it up in an outdoor parking lot fast and throw it on the ground. if it explodes, well you know it is a bomb. if it has lawyer letter, it is alimony

Is it so suspicious that you think it's a bio-weapon or something dangerous? If not, I'd just open it up and see what it says..

Well, it's addressed to him, so I wouldn't open it. Especially since it's letter mail, legally you cannot open someone else's mail.

But why would you come onto rfd and ask what we think it is? Could be a million possibilities...

Explain all this to your brother over the phone and he will gladly allow you to take all risk and open it. Face With Tears Of Joy

If you are serving someone, are you allowed to leave the papers with just anyone?

This 'brother' receiving it is no guarantee that anything has been served.
