What's there to get? It was the meal I got with my B&B room, probably the best meal I ever had in my life..

It came with my room and my room was $75/night. This was in off-season, but the room was in the best B&B in the city, and it was very very comfortable. Hot deal, if any. (The food itself must have cost them 15$ for the ingredients in expensive Dawson City)

No, you're not entitled to your own opinion, you're only entitled to what you can argue for.
Otherwise, don't start.

I remember it being, like yous aid, salmon. I think one of the two buns had cream cheese on it but it was so long ago. I could only eat half and I am a big man. > :( So hungry.

I can't say I've seen this served anywhere else, but I would imagine this is not a meal unique to the Yukon?

It isn't unique to the Yukon, but I have only been served Breakfast portions of that size (in Canada) while in Whitehorse and Dawson City.

It might just be my experience.

I just wanted to share a happy food experience with everyone, no deeper meaning need be derived from it :)

Okay - thanks for sharing :)

Is there a name for this dish? It's making me drool as well the more I see it.

I thought it was smoked salmon?

It reminds me of the "hot smoked" salmon filets you can pick up at Foodbasics. they are so good!

to each their own, it doesnt look that appealing to me. the salmon looks good, salmon is always good! and its probably fresh.

i dont think its smoked salmon... even a hot smoke wont leave the flesh browned.
That's my 2cents worth
