Sonos Play:1 now $199, Play:3 now $379, 10% off + 5% ebates on all Sonos products

Black Friday sale pricing is now over. Playbar and Playbase were regular $899, discounted to $749.

New price drops:
Play:1 - previously $249, new regular price is $199, e.g. https://www.amazon.ca/Sonos-PLAY-Compac ... B00EWCUK1Q
Play:3 - previously $379, new regular price is $329, e.g. https://www.amazon.ca/Sonos-PLAY-Mid-Si ... B005441AJC

Use coupon code SIMMONS10 on the Sonos website for 10% off. Don't forget your 5% ebates.

You can also buy Sonos from The Shopping Channel, use promo code SHIP150 for free shipping, and you can use their EasyPay option to split the payment over up to 12 months.

Edited to reflect prices in subject line, and to indicate new regular prices for Play:1 and Play:3.

Edited again to remove the Black Friday sale prices from the subject line (those are now over) but added the 10% coupon that people are using.

Thanks. I was looking at all of these vendors this morning for a Playbar. Would love to have one, but having a difficult time pulling the trigger due to the hefty price tag. I already have 7 Sonos speakers throughout the house, but the Playbar would definitely finish it off. Hoping to make a decision between this or just a standard Playbar at half the cost by end of day.

I bought a Playbar after waffling over it for years. Bought mine from TSC with EasyPay.

I figure since these things basically never go on sale, it's a good deal. I really wish I had bought it a few years ago when our dollar was closer to par though.

Sonos appears to be running promotional pricing for Black Friday on the following:

Playbar - regular $899, now $749, e.g. https://www.amazon.ca/Sonos-PLAYBAR-Sou ... B00AEMGGU2
Playbase - regular $899, now $749, e.g. https://www.amazon.ca/Sonos-PLAYBASE-Wi ... B01MSEPNIO
Play:1 - regular $249, now $199, e.g. https://www.amazon.ca/Sonos-PLAY-Compac ... B00EWCUK1Q
Play:3 - regular $379, now $329, e.g. https://www.amazon.ca/Sonos-PLAY-Mid-Si ... B005441AJC

Best Buy shows these prices in their Black Friday flyer. The prices are active already on Amazon.ca. You can also buy from The Shopping Channel, use promo code SHIP150 for free shipping, and you can use their EasyPay option to split the payment over 12 months.

Edited to reflect prices in subject line.
Awesome pricing but if you buy off amazon anything SONOS - You won't get Manufacturers warranty.

Same price on Sonos website.

Yeah pricing is fine, but Authorized dealer - Amazon and all the other dealers on there are not - meaning no warranty from Sonos themselve. Maybe you'll get some 3rd party warranty.

I understand your concern. If you visit the Sonos website you can search for a list of authorized retailers. Note that Best Buy and Amazon are both on the list.

The Shopping Channel, to your point, is not on the list. I don't know if that means they're not, or if you're giving up any warranty service. I'd find it difficult to believe that a large retailer like that can score that much Sonos stock without being an authorized dealer...

Duely noted thanks for clarity

The $199 for Play:1 and $329 for Play:3 are the new lower prices. Sneaky of Sonos to use Black Friday as a ruse to get you excited to buy! I fell for it.

Still a great speaker and worth it. I have 7 now, worth it in my opinion.

I went with the 0% 12 month financing for two Sonos 1s at TSC. 85 upfront and $33 per month for 11 months. Was super tempted to go for a single Play 3 since the bass would be a lot more powerful but being able to get stereo sound from the 1s or split them up into different rooms depending on my mood. All I know is my Fugoo XL is strictly a bathroom and travel speaker from now (delivery) on.

Sign up to the bestbuy auction website - https://2ndturn.dtdeals.com/auction/. I managed to pick up a good condition Playbar for about $425 shipped! The site is hit or miss, but you can really score some wicked deals on occasion!

I think two Play:1's is better than one Play:3. The Play:3 is kind of disappointing, and in my eyes it has always been between Play:1's and Play:5'. Even at the Best Buy demo stations, I think you'll find the incremental difference from 1 to 3 is not that much. From 3 to 5 (and from 1 to 5 of course) is a much bigger difference.

100% agree. I have six Play 1s and one Play 5 in the house. The Play 1s deliver as much sound as the Play 3 so are definitely not worth the extra cost.

Those with a Playbar (or who have ordered one), do you know if your TV supports 5.1 pass through? I don't know how to check if mine does, and I would like to put two Play 1s in surround sound. Without the 5.1 pass through from the TV, it won't work though. Or so I have read.
