Sony 60X690E 4K Smart TV - $799

Hello everyone,

Canada Computers is going to have an IN-STORE promotion for the Sony 60" Smart 4K TV for $799 starting Boxing Day. Same as the Black Friday deal. They did say it's limited quantity.

They're also selling the LG 65UJ6200 @ $999, and around $200-$300 lower than the advertised price for the OLED's and the QLED's.

I also asked why they don't have any model number for the Samsung's on their flyers and they said it's because they are selling the 6300 and the 6290 series at the same price.

Hope this helps!

OP, what's the source for your info? It's not stated anywhere on their flyer, and no other retailer is listing it for that price. On the contrary, the 70 inch model is showing up as 1399 at both Best Buy and Visions, and 1499 at Costco (but you get 4x AP miles and 2 year warranty, plus free shipping). With other retailers, it's $50 for shipping.

They have an in store poster. That's why I stressed that it's an in store only deal. Didn't want to get yelled at by other people lol! And yeah. The 70" is 1399 at Canada computers as well. That's on their flyers in case you are wondering

Both store in BC didn’t have it on show room, so no idea on price. Actually I think only Richmond had a single lg tv at the door. Not really sure if they are even selling TVs here.

They're selling TVs in BC. Lansdowne store is really small. Give them a few more weeks to get more inventory out west. Burnaby should be open soon.

I ended up picking one up. Should be noted this tv runs at 60hz, if that isn’t a problem then I’d say go for it. I am happy with my purchase

I went to the Mississauga store. This TV is on sale for $799 with about 10 in stock. Also if anyone is looking for the LG OLED, they are about $200 cheaper than advertised as well for the B7 series.

No. It does come with Netflix, Youtube and a built in mirroring service.

I bought two of these TV’s at Costco during their sale a few weeks back. The first TV failed after a few weeks. The wireless card fried after a couple of weeks and now finds no networks at all.

The 2nd TV buffers a lot during my Netflix viewings.

My other TV’s do not do this.

I will most likely be returning these TV’s in the coming days.
