Somebody advice me, I am planning to buy Gaming laptop probably under $2k this BF. I have MBP 2016 that I will sell online so there is a need for a laptop and I want to buy with graphics card.
Should I buy PS4(cheaper and exclusive for gaming) or just gaming laptop? I think it will be a waste of money to buy both?

PS. I work 9 to 5, Mon to Fri. Laptop I can carry and I am thinking to record gameplays. I don't know if we can do that on PS4.

Is this the lowest for PS Plus subscription or does it normally go lower?
$49.99 is a fairly normal sale price, rarely goes cheaper than that.

That PS4 bundle isn’t bad. Hopefully costco has an even better bundle. I personally liked last years bundle way better because you got the brand new spiderman game which had just released a month prior. Of course these games are great if you’re starting out, but they can be had for $10-$15 each regularly, not to mention that one of them was previously also available for the monthly PS Plus games.

Costco has had it for around $46.99/47.99 the last two years, so hopefully they do it again. Otherwise, this is as good as it will get and anyone needing it even in a few months should jump on it now because it won’t be on sale till either boxing day or sonys days of play in June.

Those three games in the bundle are all some of the best games ever made and at 250 the price for the console and bundle is sharp! I don't think they have gone to ten bucks, more like 20 or 30 bucks?

Is PSVR worth it with just a PS4 slim, not the Pro?

A revised PSVR will likely launch in the second year after PS5's launch. (PS5 2020, PS VR upgrade 2021, 2022)

Might be worth finally giving VR a try, anyone have experience with it and would buy that bundle?

PS VR games are even lower native resolution and blurrier on PS4 slim.
Would be only worth it on the PS4 Pro model but as stated above PS VR will get a revision sometime after PS5 launches.

HZD has been $9.99, and the other two are $20 now permanently I believe.

If taking the plunge in PS VR.... I'm guessing you need the Move remotes? Considering one bundle comes with them, and the other doesn't... the one with the Move controllers seems to be the way to go?

Also curious from real life experience if the VR is truly that bad on the stand PS4 (non Pro). I don't need it to be the "best" VR going... but on the other hand I wouldn't want it to seem garbage.

So the bundle is worth a minimum of 50 dollars(looks like 60 bucks right now) yet last year's Spider Man bundle was "worth" 80 bucks? 250 bucks this year vs. 260 last year but Spider Man was quite new at the time and more than 70 bucks?

I would rather have those three games than Spider Man any day personally and Spider Man is now $50 so it is basically a wash with this year's bundle being maybe 20 bucks cheaper but one year later and one year closer to the PS5, which is going to be a monster.

If you really want to get into the PS4 and its incredible exclusives, this is the time to do it!!

I have played all three games in the bundle and I was very impressed by them.

To me GoW was an incredible achievement in gaming and it is #1, then HZD (wow, what a game!) and then TLOU Remastered(amazing game, mediocre controls).

I haven't felt compelled to complete Spider Man personally and I got it with the console (BF sale given to me for Xmas by an overly generous Secret Santa). It is very good but not as good as those other three and especially not as good as the first two.

I should dust it off and play it again at some point though, it is really good.

I want to utilize my 4K tv though so wondering how’s the quality difference in games that have 4K on ps4 vs ps4 pro
Both PS4s can do HDR. But the PS4 Pro would allow you in some enhanced games to choose between higher resolution (e.g., 1440p@30fps or 1600p@30fps) or higher framerate (e.g., 1080p@60 fps).

HZD and the TLOU have been $9.99, GOW is permanently $20 now. Used copies go 2 for $20 for these games quite frequently at EB Games.

Saving for PS5 .. no point in sticking with 1080p at this point... 43" 4k TV's selling for $220 + ...

Here's why you should not buy a PS4 this late in the cycle: (Fast forward to 8:00 for conclusion)
