Sound bar deals

I'm looking for a good soundbar with a wireless sub. What's the best one I can get for under $200? Future shop has the Sharp HT-SL77 for $150 (reg price $200) it has 200 Watts, is that good? Let me know any good deals.

Also looking for a sound bar for 150-300

That Sharp one was $139.99 at Dell.ca a couple of days ago for their days of deal promos, I remember looking up opinions on RFD from the past and It didn't seem to be a great sound bar, mediocre at best

There is the following Vizio at costco for $149.99:
brownie85 wrote: There's a link on the box that brings up this info: www.vizio.com/sb14

VIZIO SB4021E-A0 40” 2.1 Home Theater Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer
And I just saw one in the WM boxing day flyer, Samsung sound bar with wireless sub 280 watts for $201

I would love to get some opinions on great sound bars people have purchased, I haven't really come across any with rave reviews on RFD, probably because my budget is <$300

The Samsung sound bar in the FS flyer is 299.99 and it's the Samsung 310-Watt Sound Bar (HW-F551)

So far I'm going with one of the following from Futureshop.ca for 299.99 (leaning towards the Sony):

Samsung 310-Watt Sound Bar (HW-F551)

Sony Sound Bar With Wireless Subwoofer (HTCT660) $299

I'd imagine HW-F450 will be between $180-200 on BD. I picked mine up on BF and overall I'm still very much on the fence about it. All the reviews about little bass (even tho sub output is maxed) hold true. Maybe my expectations are just too high about this bar. Nonetheless, I still have it hooked up and will be on the hunt also for an alternative. If I don't find anything better I'll probably end up just keeping it since I think the (sale) price reflects what the unit is worth.

I've had my eye on the Vizio S3821W-C0 at Costco in the US for $130 currently (til 12/24). Been reading good things about it and a quick demo last week in-store proved to be worth the price. I would have picked it up but I already had the F450 stuffed into my small hatch with a bunch of groceries.

F550 is supposed to be much better than F450, consensus in the few threads I've browsed about it suggest it's worth the extra ~$100 but it depends on how you're using it and what your expectations are, but yeah the F450 is 199 at WM and a few other places i believe, check my post above for the F550

Read the same things about the F550 but my budget was only up to $200 OTD and that's what I got the F450 after taxes and exchange. But you suggested, for those that can spring the extra $100, the F550/F551 is worth considering.

I'm torn as well...love the fact that the Sony has the extra tweeters which the 260 didn't have. But may be picking up a Samsung TV in the near future so the soundshare feature from the F551 is appealing.

The deal gets sweeter if you have a US Amex - $15 off $100 for a subtotal of $115. Too bad I don't have time to cross the border before the deal expires.

Loving the discussion guys - need to pick up a new sound bar too!!

Not that many deals around - mind you, not that many sound bar options, either!

There is no special return policy for boxing week sales, for a sound bar it should be 30 days.
