Hi guys,

I bought from these guys in the past. I paid my barbell over 300$ (shipping)

I receive an email with a ''warehouse sale''

The same barbell I bought is now 160$..........

Thanks for posting this! I won't be buying, but just wanted to share some red flags that jumped out at me:

- Shaft coating for bars isn't indicated ("Red" is not a coating)
- Tensile strength is 130k (compared to other companies at 170k-200k)
- Pictures of the bar aren't the best to show detail, pictures of other items are very blurry EDIT - found more pictures on the product page just needs some clicking through
- No reviews (also haven't personally heard of this company while researching gym equipment over the last year but that's on me)
- Additional info is generic warranty
- "Limited' 1 year warranty
- Final sales, not currently accepting returns to reduce outbreak (which seems like an excuse)
- Returns only eligible for store credit
- Prices for other items seem to low relative to other alternative vendors

I hope your bar has been well for you, but I would stay away.

I bought weight and a Barbell from them. (new regime) My friend got a black ops (sold out) on the website

The barbell itself honestly is very nice ''the design''. The weight could be found with other retailers also.

My weight price was very high compare to what they are selling right now 250$ for a set I mean.... I wish I didn't bought those weight during the pandemic.

For the rack I have no idea though.

Oh man, if you think these barbells are expensive don't look at quality Olympic barbell, you might drop on the spot.

If you have used a generic beater bar (most likely this one) for Olympic lifts compared to an Olympic bar for Olympic lifts you'd never be able to go back.

At first glance the barbell weights looks like a good deal but then you look at the weights of them...2x45 ok yup...2x 22? 2x11? Da fuk is that? Lol

Edit: And they are in KG on their site so then yes the weights now make sense lol 20kg, 10, 5, 2.5.

$1.50/lbs not bad

I bought Senergy and special forces and honestly both are like identical ahahaha.

However im still mad at myself for paying the pandemic price. I will try to email them to see if I can get the difference from what I paid vs 160

Especially the weight kit is ridiculous

I paid the Premium of the pandemic in April-May

The barbell says it has 4 bearings and 2 bushings, it's usually either or; needle bearings or brass bushings. I'm guessing it's bushings, unless it's marketed as an Olympic bar.

The bars probably fine as a generic bar tho and for the price I'd say it's good, don't know what shipping runs tho.

If anyone is looking for some better quality bars, but still well priced I'm personally a big fan of Bells of Steel, Canadian company, but not made in Canada.

This same user purchased a barbell from “special-forces.ca” for $199 in Feb 2021 based on their post history so not sure where the “I paid over $300” comes from.

Something doesn’t add up. Sounds like self promotion to me.
