650 fill power isn't that high but not low too. It is similar to Canada Goose' 625-675 fill power. However it says 380 gram fill on the web page. How is this comparing to CG or Arcteryx? I'm looking for a bomber jacket but don't want to be seen like an over 50 years old uncle.

You have to go up a size. I bought a wool overcoat and the fit was nice but I went up a size. I bought their merino wool sweaters, up a size also, and they all pill like crazy.

Big Spier and Mackay fan here. Never bought a coat from them, but the quality of their products is in general really good and so I would assume that would extend to their parkas as well.

Their weakness however is size and fit. It can be tricky to pick the right size sometimes, so I highly recommend visiting their Mississauga location to try on whatever you plan on buying.

Just got my parka jacket. Fits pretty true to size.... maybe slightly on the smaller and slimmer end too and I'm a pretty slim build.
Pretty good quality material for the price.

I think the buttons are more of a decorative thing to keep the flap in place. There's a dual zipper behind the flap and from my first impression it runs very nice and smooth but I don't see YKK branding on it.

Spier and mackay makes nice stuff but I had one of these jackets and it is nowhere close to Canada Goose/Mooseknuckles level.

Great for this price though
