[Sport Chek] Calgary Stephen Ave Closing 30% sale

Heard from a friend that the Sport Chek in downtown Calgary on Stephen Ave is closing.
Starting Jan 3, everything is ~30% off including items that are already on sale.
I don't know when's the closing date but some stuff that normally don't get discounted (like electronics) would go fast.
Good hunting!

It's 30% off the ticketed price and most items that are on sale online are still regular price so it's the same savings as online.

Make sure you check your prices...
Went to get a pair of boots that's $60 off online, but they're marked at full price in-store so they ended up being more expensive and they won't even match the website price.

No wonder saw many people with Sport Chek bags on Stephen Ave...I might check out when the sale goes down to 70-80% off, as I dont need anything urgently.

The item I got was 30% off online, and that was the price the discount applied to. So I got 30% off of 30% so 51% off an Arc'teryx jacket, which beats the 40% off Lacordee deal from the last week. Used up my Canadian Tire money also. Very happy.

So we should wait a few more days? Since discounts could get deeper...

Or the day of McNally Robinson's Bookstore closing if your a super old Calgarian. Sport Mart was in where Cole's is now.

The lineup was crazy today. Big ticket items will go fast but probably best to wait for better discount on lower demand stuff.

It’s the worst downtown for a city of its size. Once 5 hits, it’s a traffic jam to get out of the core and everything closes except for a few restaurants and bars.

No one needs to put a nail in the coffin of downtown Calgary. It never had a pulse to begin with - ever.
