[Sport Chek] Deals on running shoes - eg. Saucony Freedom ISO $60 off

I'm always on the hunt to replace my shoes as they wear out and since I retired two pairs just last week, I am more motivated. Here are a few good deals I came across on SportChek.ca on some of last year's models (in the case of the Kinvara 8, it's a 2017 model):

Neutral shoes - 4mm offset
Saucony Men's Freedom ISO Running Shoes - Burgundy $89.98 (was $149.95)
Saucony Men's Freedom ISO Running Shoes - Olive $89.98 (was $149.95)
Saucony Men's Everun Kinvara 8 Running Shoes - Slime/Black - $66.98 (was $111.95)

Neutral shoes - 10mm offset
Nike Men's Epic React Flyknit Running Shoes - White/Red $119.95 (was $200)
Nike Men's Zoom Flyknit Running Shoes - Blue/White $160.95 (reg. $215) - available in a few colours at this price.
Nike Men's Zoom Pegasus 35 Turbo Running Shoes - Navy/Blue $179.99 (reg. $240)
Nike Men's Epic React Flyknit Running Shoes - White/Red $119.95 (reg. $200)

Stability shoes - 8mm offset
Saucony Men's Hurricane ISO 4 Running Shoes - Black/Grey/Green $109.98 (was $189.99)

Many of these prices are not unique to SportChek - Nike.ca, Sporting Life, etc. list many of these shoes at similar prices - but SportChek had the best combination of brands, sizes, and prices.

Happy trails!

Would it make u sad that 2 weeks ago there was a huge sale at sportchek which they cancelled early due to crazy demand ... N I grabbed a Nike epic react for $54, Reebok floatride rs for $41, under Armour hovr sonic for $37, Nike odyssey react for $42, n Nike legend react $39?

Here's a list of some from that weekend before stacking on the 10% off discount to get more saving, the list was too big to remember, there were some winflo and pegasus, but those got swept up fast. and a chunk of people(now upset) had their order canceled cuz the stores themselves couldn't handle the sudden large influx of orders, so they were canceling them as item not found, or could also be staff were hoarding up the good stuff.

I'll upvote you for mentioning saucony, cuz a lot of non-runners who think they got great fashion sense and all about the yeezy hype, etc think you are wearing trash when they see you wearing saucony... used to be New balance too cuz they're DADs shoe,

I found saucony to be durable and the comfortable, whether you use it for running or walking

Not really - none of those shoes appeal to me. Of the ones that I listed, I personally would only be interested in Kinvaras (but I have a Kinvara 9 with life still left in it) or the Zoom Flyknit (and my current pair has a couple hundred kms left on them as well) so my search continues. You're not really going to find stupid low prices on the Zoom Flyknit just yet and the Kinvara 10 won't be discounted for a few months yet.

But I concede that the "deals" I posted are fair but not really super hot. However, they are deals on shoes that I have worn and can attest to (other than the Hurricane - which is a stability shoe). The deals you got were way better but on shoes I have not tried and therefore would not purchase online. Congrats though - those were super prices.

Yeah, I like the Saucony line - Triumphs are decent distance trainers and I still haven't found a shoe I like in as many circumstances as the Kinvara. I have run in New Balance, Asics, Hokas, Salomon and Adidas but am now almost exclusively Nike and Saucony.

I should add that I do have Saucony Peregrines and Razors for the winter and have had good experience with the Freedoms and Breakthrus as well - I just find the latter to be a little on the squishy/dead side of things. We runners are all different...
