Does anyone know what the top material is on the shoes? I don't like the color but hopefully the material will allow a hit with a spray paint can or those roll on shoe paint things. I remember those white roll on shoe paint for tennis shoes. Not sure if they make it in black.

the top of the soles? its mesh if thats what you're talking about

These are RUNNING shoes and are excellent for the purpose. If you’re more concerned about what your feet look like while you run than how the shoes actually perform, you’re doing it wrong!
