Meh, sorry, colour me not impressed here...
Those backpacks look to be worth about the $15-30 most of them are going for...
Osprey is making run-of-the-mill casual, Jr. High backpacks now? Whoop. I'll stick to their trail packs for camping and hiking, but, like MEC, I sure hope they don't divert/dilute further from their core business of outdoorsmanship to serving a bunch of sk8ters.....
Wallet safe here..

I'll stick to North Face for my University /aroundtown style backpack -- 15 years and still going super strong like it's practically new (Borealis)... They're tops in this product realm, IMHO. Lifetime guarantee as well.

Dakine has free, painless, if a bit slow warranty replacement. I bought a bag in high school and had it replaced a few times due to zipper failures. Nothing paid except the first time I bought it. This way the bag doesn't need to be built too heavy, and still provides lifetime use.
