A note, the one on sale is the one in the second video where the front zipper is on the side instead of on top like the first video. From the little research I did on Osprey slings, Osprey regularly updates their packs (maybe yearly?). Hopefully that is a good sign of a company listening to reviewers and improving on their product.

Looking on Sport Chek's site, they have the top front pocket version for $59.88, a little over $30 off.

These aren't waterproof right? I have another Osprey backpack now and my only complaints are that it's not waterproof and the little zipper pull strings suck.

They make pack covers. The covers not only protect the pack from rain but also help to prevent wear via UV. Below is one example of the rain covers but there are many companies that make them in many colors/patterns.

20L is not a large bag. It's false marketing lol. I'm sure it's great quality but the standard Costco Swiss army bag (mediocre quality) is much more convenient. Great pencil/etc pockets and most importantly will fit 2x4L milk.

This Osprey looks like a tiny just big enough for school bag. Well for the new kids in the block who don't need to carry big school books anymore.

I don't find the Tan colour attractive. But others might like it. Good price for the bag though, if only the other colours were similarly priced.
