I have used mine at least 100 times and still going strong. Actually stopped using others. I have been extremely happy with anything Osprey makes. I average 100 hikes a year.

The Talon 22 is definitely a pack that is function over form. Alternatively, packs like the Arc'teryx Brize 25 seem to fit the bill of enough function but without overly compromising on looks. It's actually not that easy to balance the form and function equation when it comes to hiking packs...
