Thread Summary
According to a Sport Chek (SC) employee, this partnership code is essentially cost plus 15%.

Didn't have any payment restrictions on combining the above with discount gift cards that were bought during the 15% off deals from Canadian Tire. If you combine the two deals, you're essentially getting everything slightly below cost (2.25% off cost, here's the math 1*1.15*0.85=0.9775) from Sport Chek...

Just saw that myself in my email, but if you click through to the Player Perks page, it says you need to use the code provided in your profile... which of course they haven't yet provided.

This looks similar to the Triangle Mastercard offers wherein most items won't get to the 70% discount....probably 30% to 50%.

Why wouldn't they just exclude every other province except ON for this Toronto Sports and Social Club deal?

This is the same as the employee codes promotion they've been doing for the past year or so.

I guess FGL is getting really creative with their promotional department. Gotta pad the bottom line by getting those sales!

Each code will be unique and you'll get $4,000 worth of buying power. Most items I bought were at min. 40% off MSRP, some were more.

Does anyone know if you can use sportchek gift cards for this promo? I recently bought some at Rexall for 15% off, was hoping to use them for this promotion, but I don't know if they'll take gift cards with the employee code?

For the person that downvoted this thread for "Not a good price" is ridiculous. Assuming it's the same promo that's been going on with various associations, I was able to get a bunch of stuff for big discounts. In fact, I bought a pair of Nike Air 270s for $110 two days after launch.

Looks like the same deal as the friends and family discount. I priced a Yeti tundra 45 yesterday at $310 down from $400. F&F pricing is essentially cost + 10%.

Vancouver Canucks season ticket holders got this a few months ago. I regret not using it. Take advantage if you can.
