Downvoted for their condescending tone and inability to categorize, log, or even just copy and paste the product name into the title

Max_dealing was just trying to help OP out, instead got the spiel. This site would be a whole lot better if people could label, categorize and put proper concise titles.
Wow, you sound like a quality human being.

You are paying for the brand here. You can buy similar quality (or better) shorts for much less.

At 65 Dollars, probably. But for 30 I would be super curious to see what you would suggest.

These look nice, but how much sweat will they retain? I basically want to wear a plastic bag around my bits, my shorts get too heavy.

Patagonia sells them as Shorts, Sporting Life seems to have taken the liberty of calling them Swim Trunks. It has a mesh liner, but its not the abrassive traditional bathing suit style, more soft and loose.

They have tons of stuff on sale as well. Two pairs of shorts and some filler and you should make it there no problem.

soft and loose for the family jewels I guess? :)
Might be just me but I don't find these shorts/swimming trunks THAT attractive. I mean they look ok, but I don't know if I would wear them going out to get groceries and stuff.

5" is too itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny for my taste, even though they have it in yellow.
