Warning they fit rather tightly in the toe box, opted for a size up and they fit much better.

I'm a fan of the Salomon boots with Gore-Tex but these might not be great value for money.

If you hike a few times a year, they might survive for a few years. But the reviews confirm that they fall apart pretty quickly compared to the higher-end Salomon products designed for every-day use (e.g. the Forces models). If you are a serious hiker, it's better to pay 2x as much for boots that will last 10x as long.
