Any one know whether the men's mcmurdo fits true to size or does it fit large?

They cancelled my Gotham III. I'm tempted to buy this unfortunately.

10% off with "SorryOutofStock" doesn't work with any other promotions either.

Just FYI any discount 50% or higher is final sale.

edit: maybe that's in store as website says over 30% online you'll get a gift card.

I would say buy your size. It is a big bulky jacket though so your first instinct would be to think it's big, but this is a parka after all. Some reviews here with sizing info https://www.altitude-sports.com/product ... f-nf0a33rf

On the other deal thread (Last Hunt) with NF jackets, there was one group that preferred one size down. The other group thought it was true to size. I'm guessing the fit of the jacket is dependent on your body type. Athletic and stockier builds may find the jacket true to size. Slender and average builds may find one size down to be a better fit. Best thing to do is head to Sport Chek or any other store that carries the jacket you're look at and try it on.

Had this jacket for a couple days but ended up returning it (McMurdo / Men). Can't get past the fact that there is no elastic around the cuffs to keep wind out. That was my only gripe about this jacket, hopefully they fix that in future versions.

It's more of a personal preference, right? Cause you can adjust the velcro straps on the cuffs, no? Not the same thing, but better than nothing...

You can, but it's kind of flappy still and lets air in as its not 100% closed off. It is personal preference as some people wear large gloves which should close the gap, I however am not one of those people.

I bought a McMurdo at boxing Day from Sporting Life. It took almost 2 weeks to receive it. Overall, I'm super satisfied. It's very warm. I'm 5'11" 180lbs and the medium fits me well. The cuff is not a problem since you will always wear glove and you can adjust anyway. I don't like the double zipper (it can open both ways), it doesn't enter properly sometimes.

At 50% off, I can't complain.

Feel free to ask me question.
