Anyone tried out under Armour running shoes before? I've usually stuck with new balance, Asics, Nike and Adidas.

I have the same question. I need these for running on a treadmill. I’ve used Nike free runs the majority of my life but the last iteration suck. They actually hurt my knees badly.

I've had a pair for just over a year and they've been comfortable for long periods of running/walking.

If you're doing any significant amount of running, you should go get fitted for your shoes at a place like running room. It's more expensive to buy, but your feet, knees, his, etc will thank you

Ya as a runner who has tried 10 shoes this summer so far, good shoes can make a bad run less painful.

Thanks OP, bought the Gore-Tex ones shortly after post1, as with all SL clearance now they have to find store stock to fulfill it. Some say not truly waterproof and others in reviews say yes. I’m fine with splashproof, was looking for a pair for frontline work. Note people have said it’s more like hot pink than red accents. As of typing, just received order confirmation a few hours later, not instant like some e-tailers.

How you run has more influence on pain and injuries than what shoes you wear in my opinion. Not that shoes aren't important, but if your form is bad, great shoes only put a bandaid on the real problem.

Hot pink? Was about to do the purchase but damn, deal breaker. Not sure I can pull that off.

It’s definitely not deep red some might mistake by looking at the side profile, it’s more neon to me, could be mistaken for even orange as an eBay seller describes. Google real pics, accuracy will be higher on a high end Apple device like an iPhone Pro OLED because they use the P3 color gamut which displays reds better than sRGB/adobe, truer to shade.

Anyone who’s doing serious amounts of running should also be at least trying 5-toed shoes

I hate these mesh running shoes we have gone to making and replacing perfectly fine running shoes. Water gets through these mesh shoes like no tomorrow.

This is a great deal and Under Amour shoes are more than decent. They look stylish, mostly black so work appropriate and built solid.

But I have learnt a lesson to never buy shoe going by sale or trend. I work in sales and mostly on foot whole day. Wrong shoes were not only killing my feet but my ankles, calfs, knees and hamstring as well, basically whole posterior leg. After so many wrong diagnosis (gout, arthritis, pinched nerves, tight hamstrings), went to a running store and magically all symptoms vanished after I was started wearing wide neutral stability shoes from Asics, New Balance and Saucony. Now Ultraboost sale threads don’t excite me anymore, good shoes but more hype and not for me.

So true. I've got a pair of 'rain weather' running shoes and my regulars for that exact reason. I do find 'mesh' shoes/newer shoes much lighter than older editions though. Feels much better on the feet IMO.

For runners, breathability is very important. Active feet get hot due to enhanced blood circulation.

I've worn the UA Charged Escape 3 Reflect everyday for over a year now, running on the treadmill every other day since lockdown started and it's still great. It's very breathable and non-stiff which I really like. I bought these for around $100 so at this price, it's a steal.

What’s their sizing like compared to nike or saucony?

I hate buying shoes online for this reason.
