As per title, game is currently 50% off on steam. Shows as very positive on steam reviews currently and has recently had a patch I believe. I don't have it but tempted to bite at this price.

sounds pretty good. only issue with it is i don't have that many friends to play with. Playing with other kids just sounds like it'll become a "YOU CHEATER BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH" or a crap ton of hackers...

Thanks OP, I'm tempted to buy it at this price. I follow this guy on YouTube called Bluedrake42, and I learned about Squad when I watched him play an intense combat session.

Great game and most players are pretty mature. It is not a lone shoot em up game. But takes a lot of teamwork and communication to play well.

I have 8GB of RAM, processor I7 4th gen and Nvidia GTX 870M. Do any of you guys tried the game with similar specs? Wondering if I can run it or not

Probably on a lower setting. If it isnt to your liking and you've only played a couple of hours, you can get a refund from Steam.
