Thanks, I love Squish gummies! They are a bit more pricey, but the quality is there. I think they set the standard for gourmet gummies, and the single smaller bags in the mixes are great for taking on the go.

The only thing I wish they would change is that over the last year or so, they started putting in more vegan gummies into their regular mixes and I wish they would stop that. They used to have seperate vegan mixed bags, it would be nice if they would go back to that.

Vegan gummies have the texture of jub jubs or Swedish raspberries and I would rather just have more regular gummies in my bag.

Of course it is. The website tells us why:

-the candies are "vegan", so yeah, they can charge an arm and a leg, because that's what the market dictates. Anything vegan, be ready to pay through the nose, like "whole foods".

-Founded in Montreal in 2014, SQUISH is North America’s first "artisanal" candy store that specializes in over 100 flavours of awesomely delicious gourmet gummies.
Key word, "artisanal", therefore again, they can charge an arm and a leg.

-The founder (from the website): Meet Sarah Segal, our sweetest leader. To say she loves candy would be a huge understatement. If Sarah’s not at the office, she’s off travelling the globe, absorbing whatever she can about what’s new in the world of yummy gummies.
You think he's paying out of pocket? LOL.
How else is she going to go on her trips around the world? This is why she charges a high premium for her vegan, "artisanal", "gormet" gummies? To TRAVEL on the customer's dime. You can probably do a google search and find out the latest vegan gummy trends and global shops. Or do a zoom call. If anyone can tell me why she needs to have these meetings in person, in another country, even before the pandemic, let me know.....my vegan, gourmet gummy bear knowledge is weak. :)

At the end of the day, if you want to try them out, and you have a lot of scratch, do it.
If not, go find another vegan candy place and compare prices and then post a thread in here with the lower prices? Competition, baby.

They shouldn't be doing that? It should be a customer choice?

Gonna be honest. I tried these candies before when there was a different RFD thread on it.

Really not worth what you're paying even with a sale. The candy was good but it wasn't on another level compared to candy you can get at Walmart or Bulk Barn.

I do understand that the candies are "vegan" and try to be "gourmet" but you can only do so much with candy to make it even more amazing.

You're better off getting a tub of gummies or something at Walmart for 4 dollars.

Just my opinion though.

The sweet yogurt cups are literally my all time fVourite. They're unlike anything else ive ever had and soooo addictive, so for a treat theyre worth the price imo. That said, i hate paying shipping for anything so i won't be on this. I'll wait until maybe they do fs once again...

Yes, if you can't tell the difference why bother. I find those gummy tubs to be flavourless lumps, often with the wet sugar coating thing going on (even Maynards seems to get that a lot nowadays). The Squish peach gummy hearts can't be beat, but all the vegan stuff is yuck (unless you're vegan and don't have a choice I guess?).
