SSD Internal Expansion for Xbox Series S

Looking for a better deal than what I'm seeing everywhere. 1 TB was $300, 2 TB is over $900, what the hell. they get you coming and going. Any help would be great.

2 TB? My understanding was that the 1 TB Seagate Expansion Card was the only option for upgrading "internal" storage.

If you need cheap storage your only option is an external HDD. You can store the XSS/XSX games on it but will have to move them back to the internal card to actually play them. Xbox One or older games can be played off the external.

The XSX has proprietary storage, Microsoft made that pretty clear when it launched. If you want the proprietary storage cheaper than $300, all you can pretty much do is wait for a sale.
Also as chemicalvx said, I'm not seeing a 2tb option anywhere, so not sure where you saw that. And yes your cheapest solution is an external drive, plenty of compatible ones can be found for decent prices off Amazon for example. And the nice thing is you don't have to pay extra for a Microsoft branded one.
c'mon get happy!
