Try their free app to see if you get you need, premium doesn’t add much more on top. The YouTube ad thing is included in free as well, just visit youtube.com on safari and click on share and select the Adguard option.

I use AdGuard and still get ads on the YouTube app.

Edit: they do offer a work around.

A two-step guide on how to do this:

1. Open YouTube app and start the video you want to watch.

2. Tap on the Share button and select AdGuard for Android from the list of apps.

That's it! A new window with the video will open where you'll be able to watch it without being interrupted by ads.

What about iOS and Google TV?

I use this strictly for DNS-over-QUIC on my MacBook, Windows laptop, and Android phone. I have an AdGuard Home server setup in the cloud with QUIC enabled and I connect to that when I'm at home, and NextDNS' QUIC server on my mobile device. The browsing performance is faster than with regular DNS.

Doesn't affect your banking. It checks sites you visit against a list of known ad servers and blocks them.

There is no tracking or recording of sites you actually visit.

I already bought but here's some discussion on free vs. pro, which I think this deal is all about.

The plan is that both AdGuard Premium and AdGuard Pro will be the same in the future. It was mentioned in their blog a while back.

Vanced still blocks youtube ads on Android. Disclaimer: it has stopped development but there are other projects to replace it

Not an iOS or OSX user but came across this last month. I doubt Safari will be totally ad free in iOS unless Apple wants to neuter its upcoming ad business.
