This game is actually really fun, those that played Bomberman when they were younger will enjoy it.

Do I need any Stadia specific hardware? Can I just play with a PC and keyboard/mouse or my Xbox controller?

Just a decent internet connection, you can use keyboard/mouse or any USB or bluetooth controller. Plays on any device, android, iOS, PC, Mac, fridge or a Tesla.

If you want to play on a TV you will need the Stadia controller and chromecast ultra, and that gets you 4K 60fps!

Bomberman parties were the best back in the day! I bought this for Switch earlier this year but I like having another option now.

I suggest waiting before trying it out. I'm having trouble launching, never had that before on Stadia. :(

It was Bomberman 3,4,5,6 and Mario Kart. Had hundreds of hours on those games on SNES. Those were my most played games up until now and probably won't be beaten. I probably have more hours on these games than the rest of the games combined. These days I have more unplayed games than played....

Somehow I was never exposed to Bomberman as a kid in the NES/SNES etc. days, but when the Dreamcast became unwanted I got one cheap and discovered 4 player Bomberman Online, that's the name but we only played it offline I don't think Dreamcast online was even running anymore, still funny to me a 2001 game had "Online" in the title. Anyway it became or regular hangout game, we kept the Dreamcast at the guy's house we always gathered at and we played the hell out of it for years. Much much fun was had.
