Finally. The staff at Union were good. So fast. They must just have their best at that busy location

Dumb place to beta test.. I can see they want the rush hour crowds but the stats would be better at the busiest restaurant locations (say 24hr locations) than a subway stn. which only gets busy during certain hours. No one says gee, I wanna mcmuffin at 4pm, lets go to Union subway... kinda lame. Doesnt Timmies have all day breakfast anyway?? Hmm...

I think it's smart! They're obviously going after tourists more than us (first). It's not just TTC or GO there, there's also Via rail. Busy all the time!

Don't forget, the second location will be in a nearby office tower, so there's the business crowd, maybe wanting something different...

Union station is busy from morning to night, It's a constant stream of people. And yes people do say "I wanna mcmuffin at 4pm". Please don't try to compare Timmies breakfast to Mcdonalds.

McDonalds is late. Timmies already dominates the subway/office crowds. Everyone I see on smoke breaks go to the nearest Timmies which are all stacked around/in large office buildings.

They do that for lack of a better choice though. Once the McCafe is easily accessible, this might all change.
Were you the same person that said Starbucks will never work here because there's already a Second cup?

Nope wasnt me, point not made. Next! We'll see how the stats show for Timmies and Micky D's after the beta test. Not saying they wont get any of the office crowd but that's like getting the people CG crowd to stop wearing the coats in 10C weather. *welp*

I'd pick anything over a Timmies, so if I lived there I'd rather the McCafe.

Please suggest an alternative single location that's actually busier than Union. Like the others have said, it's not just a subway, and has a ton a traffic.

And Timmies doesn't have all-day breakfast, ends around 11 or 11.30 I think.

McD's coffee over Tim's any day. Tim's is busy in the financial area because they're everywhere, just like SB. I'll be a 2 min walk from the new one in Jan, thankfully. And I am 1 of those people that would love a mcmuffin at 4 pm once in a while, lol

Tims lost me when they decided not to keep an eye on the taste of their coffee from location to location. At least McDonald's is constant in their taste and quality.
I have to agree. For a while now, Tims did so well due to lack of choice. Hopefully this will shake things up!

Wow, I'm surprised you switched sides! You used to be the biggest Tim Horton's defender.

So it's all day-breakfast? About time! Do they also sell hashbrowns and mcgriddles all day?

As far as I know, it's just the basic breakfast items (anything that will fit on an english muffin, lol)
plus a few extras, maybe, but no mcgriddles or hash browns.

I don't think that was me, but I do LOVE the idea also. The freedom to not have to wait until 5:30 am is great. The fear of missing out after 11am is never pleasant.
