Price and model year in title would be extremely helpful.

This is not the new one but old model with 8th gen CPU vs new ones which have the 10th gen CPU at same price.

Just noting that this is last year's MacBook with their butterfly keys.
I would recommend waiting for a sale on this year's Macbook Air since they put back the scissor keys on those ones.

Not the same price though, the new ones that just came out are 1299 from Apple.

Would recommend getting the 2020 instead. Much improved 10th gen cpu and ram speed , and most importantly, the keyboard is reliable again and starts at 256g.

If you are on a tight budget, apple refurb have this for 989. But highly recommend 2020, GPU improved 80 percent from what I read

As others have pointed out the 2020 version is much better (From the keyboard, 80% improved GPU from the 10th gen CPU, faster RAM and starts at base 256GB storage etc...). If you plan on buying I recommend buying via the education pricing from Apple (they really don't ask for anything) which is the i3(dual core)/8gb/256gb similarly priced at $1169, but I would also recommend upgrading to the i5(quad core) for $150 more.

According to the education store website, the 2020 i5 version is $400 more

Not a bad price. It's rare to see apple computer with $300 drop.

But not recommended. It's not a very reliable product. 2020 new model is much better.

The new Macbook Air 2020 model blows this out of the water and it doesn't cost too much more. Better to get the 2020 will last you longer. But the 2019 is an amazing machine as well.
