[Staples] 4K IPS 27" LG Monitor (60 Hz, 5ms) with FreeSync: 400$ (370$ with coupons)

Very decent 4K IPS monitor with great reviews is on sale at staples for 400$. Can be lowered down to 370$ if you can find one of those 30$ of 300$ coupons. There is still stock online and in some stores. This is the cheapest price in Canada right now as far as I can tell (e.g. amazon.ca sells it for 416$), and is the cheapest I've seen recently.

I own this monitor and it's pretty great. No complaints with the display itself but be prepared to get a VESA mount for it... The included stand is terrible. I got the North Bayou floating monitor arm off Amazon.ca. It's currently a lightning deal on Amazon @ $37. North Bayou Monitor Mount

Yes and yes, Windows 10. It's getting much better, I think it's at 150% or something. Used to be pretty bad but a recent update improved scaling a bit. Still the occasional dialog that is tiny AF. You can also manually scale apps in Windows 10, which I do with the Adobe suite. Paired with a gtx 1080 for gaming and I get about 50 fps on average with ultra detail and 4k res. Example games: FO4, Witcher 3.

I have the 32" 4K model and run mine at 100% no problem.

Which 32" do you have and at what price? 32" seems to be the sweet spot for no scaling.

this looks a new modal, but it doesn't have eye care features (blue light reduction and Flicker Free), is this monitor designed for gaming? then blue light reduction and Flicker Free features are not compatible?

5ms designed for gaming? Maybe Tetris. Typical gamers use 1ms monitors which IPS panels can't do.

For reference costco had the HP envy (might be spectre) 4k 27" for around $300 a few months ago, I think it was only available at select Costcos. The screen is just too small for 4k, even at $300 it is not much of a deal from my perspective.

1ms Grey to Grey doesn't mean a whole lot. Advertised response rates are a marketing gimmick. Also have you seen the Asus pg279q? It's an IPS panel and is great for gaming...
