It's a decent price but keep in mind replacement toner is like $50 (1200 pgs)

If you're gonna be printing that much all the time, probably invest in a Brother where the replacement toner can be purchased at like half that price on 123. For example, TN730 and TN630. I worked at an PC store before so I know how the prices work lol. Cheap laser printers = more expensive toners.

Can't you refill the cartridge ? I have an HP laser printer and we use the refill bottles. Not expensive if you can do it

I buy mine from 123ink.ca - their local brand works flawless.

From my knowledge, some printers have this thing that detects if it's been opened and basically bricks the cartridge so that you'll never be able to print from it ever again.

The HP P1005 I have has a warning message saying something about that but it still works. Some cartridges actually get bricked?
If I were buying this I'd look into it to get a straight answer on that

Aftermarket toner or refills are not always the best option. You might save a ton of money initially, but long run its not worth it sometimes. Some of the yields are not accurate and I have seen a lot of toner spill and ruin the printer.
