Setup two side by side, all default settings, right side is warmer than the left.

Left side has a defect spot as I mentioned in early post, would like to go to store to exchange one, if there is none in stock, I think that I have to keep it.

I’m thinking keep them for myself and give the dell u3415w to my nieces because text is bigger on acer monitors.

Picked up the monitor, vast improvement over my previous one.

I've looked online, but hoping someone might have the answer.... I've tried a couple of games (using default resolution and high'ish settings) and both times the screen is periodically (but frequently) goes black for a few seconds. The game is still working, but obviously this is a touch annoying... In the windows environment it works fine at the default resolution @ 75hz.

RX580, latest drivers, connected via the display port that was included.

Any insight? EDIT - Switched to HDMI and appears to be resolved.
A few of us has issues with the display port. Tried different cables and same problem screen keeps flickering on off.
I’m dropping mine off at the repair depot this week. Hopefully it’s not a long wait

Exchange if the defect stands out, definitely worth a shot. Call ahead to the store if it helps.

Got this monitor and it's great. Only gripe is that connecting to my Nintendo switch gives blurry or low rez. It's still worth it but I'm wondering if there is any way to make switch have sharper resolution or set the monitor to 1080p when using switch.

Staples, should still have stock. If not you could check if Acer can replace it for you.

no reason why this can’t handle basic games eh?
I use this as my full time gaming monitor. Not really bothered about the FPS or the response time and it works great for my gaming needs. LA Noire, Bioshock, Deus Ex, Just Cause 4 etc are awesome.

Also love the FreeSync, as then I can bump up the Graphic Quality without having to worry about the framerate issues. Silky smooth gaming without any of the Vsync & other weirdness.

Just curious but what ports did you use to connect both?

I have two as well and I'm thinking of getting a display port splitter so I can connect both using display port

First, you need to buy it in store and not online

You just need to make it +$300 and the 20% off coupon will work
If you just want the monitor, you can use the 15% off coupon instead

Staples stores somehow don't care if the monitor is technology or not.. I presume it's a glitch on their system

(Make sure you are using in-store coupon)
Thanks to you, I got a random stuff and use the teacher code and got the 20% off without spending $300+. And it work for me.

Got a file box, but I don't think I will be using it so will return the box tomorrow.

All in I guess its $261 with BC tax.

P.S I show teacher's ID

You are lucky, as for electronic products only 10% for teacher coupons

My amd r9 270 has only 1 displayport, so I use hdmi for another monitor, I did switch the connection between them but the same result.

Below is my settings(found from previous post) .

You're lost... They both got elected because they told stories that people wanted to hear. People follow them in the desert because they are thirsty. They all drink the sand because the they don't know the difference.
Help me find my direction, what did Ford say that he hasn't backed up yet?

Oh and what politician hasn't lied to get into office? Obama did a whole lotta nothing and Trudeau has been a hot mess. You might not have as good of direction as you think ;)
