Anyone know what time Staples expires the deals? Last night, went to order a second one of these sometime after 8pm PST and price was already back up. Was hoping it was midnight EST, but I guess it could be NF time zone.

In the end, it was good because I didn't NEED another one.

Got one of the units with a wonky DP port.
Took it back to staples hoping to do an instore exchange.

Unfortunately the rep just did a refund on the monitor and I had to wait 30 mins for the store manager to call the online order number to ask them to replace the order at the sale price. The rough part was the manager was arguing with the phone rep that I paid $293(259+tax) while the rep was saying the sale price was 279.99. Took a good 5 mins before the manager finally heard me yell loud enough that the whole store could hear me say "$293 is taxes in."
Asked the manager why I couldn't just exchange instore, he said it would be a loss for his store for him to do the discount on the exchange unit.

TLDR:
Monitor was defective.
Staples has a poor process for instore exchange of defective online sale purchases.
Wasted 40mins of my time.

That terrible! If they let you return in-store then they should definitely let you exchange in store (especially since their stated policy does not differentiate between in-store and online).

In this scenario, it might be justifiable to just purchase a new one in-store and return the defective one in its place with the new receipt.

Same issue. Tried different cable and video card.
Dropped mine off last week. Got a call today saying they couldn’t replicate the issue.
Asked to bring in my desktop and display port cable so they can test further.

If anyone is using AMD video card.
the newest Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.5.2 and the previous Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.4.1
both won't give you the option to set the monitor to 75HZ in Windows. Only default option of 60HZ

Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.2.2 / 19.2.3 is the one that still works and give you 75HZ option

I only tried Doom out for a bit and it seemed to be working fine with this monitor.

I switched to use HDMI for now. And ordered a new display cable. Read somewhere the display Cable that comes with sucks.

I got mine back from Acer a month ago and they couldn't replicate the flickering issue with the display port. I tried a few different cables but all of them came with my acer monitors so they could just be poor cables.

I just grabbed a cable from my IT dept and will try that out and report back. HDMI works fine everytime
