It's good enough for casual gamers, and semi-casual FPS gaming.

For the price, it's certainly a decent offering.

I thought this resolution is best suited for 27" screens. Isn't this too big?

I'm reading you just fine from another 32" 1440p monitor (VA32AQ).

The ET322QU is a great work/gaming value monitor. Clear and bright enough for work productivity in a well-lit room, vibrant and responsive enough for a good gaming experience.

Your inbox. Staples emails them to you. For me, mostly after a recent purchase.

I think this resolution would be a bit better for a smaller monitor unless you move it a bit farther away from where you sit (I am going to be 28-30 inches or so from it I think).

How far do you sit from it red?

This monitor just seems like too good of a deal to pass up. I would prefer a higher PPI but as red says, this is a value monitor and it is pretty good at work and play so for the money I don't see how you beat it, especially if you have a coupon.

2.5 to 3.0ft away. It's a standing / sit-down desk in my office.

It's not a gaming monitor, but I have an Acer ET322QU (Inexpensive 31.5" 2560x1440, 75Hz, freesync range 48-75Hz) and a 1070 ti. The new driver allows me to enable G-Sync noting that my display isn't validated. I tried out the pendulum demo. I'm running 3 monitors and only the 1 has freesync so I'm not sure if that affects anything. I also had my G-Sync enabled for windowed and full screen mode initially but changed it to full-screen only before running the demo in case that makes a difference.

Results. V-Sync on gives stuttering, V-Sync off gives tearing, G-Sync is fairly smooth without tearing. When I lock 60 fps it's far superior to the other options. With variable fps options it still lurches a bit sometimes but I'm not sure if that's a freesync/gsync issue or simply due to the framerate changing. I tried using the fps sliders to keep it over 48 fps to stay in the freesync range and that didn't seem to matter much.

Last coupon I have says it's not applicable to technology. Does not include monitors?

VA panels are much better for gaming than IPS. So even though this monitor is 75hz it is an IPS. A 60hz VA panel would likely perform better in fast moving situations.

I've been using a Philips 4K 40" monitor for the past 2 years and I love it. It was only $599

we have a 60hz monitor rated for "gaming" and this 75hz monitor rated for "non-gaming", what the hell does that even mean?
