The Lenovo P27H 27" 1440p.

Ive been looking at upgrades, Not that this would be one, those ultrawides look nice ect. but did anyone else catch this deal im enjoying the display but wondering what the next level screens would me

my system specs are i7 6700, 16gb ram, and a gtx1070.
I think you would want a 4K 32" or larger.
I personally wouldn't go with ultrawides. TO be honest, ultrawides make your desk look super futuristic and cool, but using it is a bit awkward as your head is always on a swivel. I would only use it for racing games.

I had an HP spectre 32" 4k also had a UW3417 I prefered the Dell over the HP 4k.
But maybe its just me, I do alot of production work ect where ultrawide is amazing for real estate.

I went to staples first thing in the morning and got a price adjustment with a $10 off $200 coupon applied to my purchase from a couple days back. Total was $301.99 + tax (hate that $12 recycling fee!). Glad I purchased it ahead of time and price matched, much easier than calling stores on the day of to find stock!

If you're up to it, do an exchange, it's called panel roulette and you may have to spin again.
Yea too bad! I was on the fence about it so maybe I will just return it and be done with it. The local staples only had 1 in stock.

EDIT: after trying ISPU with a 3rd store, finally got one. Good replacement for almost a 10-year old 1080p 24" TN panel.

Limited stock, most stores only have 1 or 2 available.

I was just in Staples and picked one of these up, unsure if I'll keep it. I would love an explanation of why the ASUS 1080x1920 monitor next to it, which is also going for $299 had a more clear and just nicer image than this one? I thought because the Acer had more PPI that it would have by far the nicer image.

Not an expert.... but my guess is that it's a downscale/upscale issue with Staples using the same resolution (4k or 1080p) of the demo images run across all their monitors (i.e. 4K & 1080p images will upscale/downscale nicely since one is exactly 4 times the other... while trying to display the same images in 1440p will be blurry because pixel ratios do not line up nicely when upscaling/downscaling).
