I'm a newbie to monitor profiles, do I simply download the .icc file, double click and make the manual User profile changes on the monitor? I thought I followed these steps but not sure the profile was applied, are there any other settings changes required in the graphics settings? I'm on Win 10 Home. Thanks so much!

Yes, that's pretty much it. You've done it all. The changes are very subtle as the monitor it pretty accurate out of the box as it is.

Is this a good deal for someone who mostly watch movies on my pc and play some games sometimes? Or should I wait for a cheap 4k monitor 27"-32"? and how much would those be if on sale?

What hdmi version is supported by this monitor? I have a Lenovo X1 extreme that has an HDMI 2.0 port and USB-C ports but no DisplayPort. Can I achieve WQHD resolution at 75Hz refresh rate using HDMI or do I need to use the USB-C port and an adapter to DisplayPort to achieve max resolution and refresh rate?

I'm very tempted to get this. I game and also work a fair bit with emails and video conferencing. I don't plan on pushing 4k anytime soon as I am only running a 1070ti, so this seems like a decent sweet spot. I have 5.1 already so speakers don't matter to me

Hmmmm.....not sure what to do. Thanks OP
Please don't ask or beg for "thanks". Don't act like this is Facebook. If someone found your post helpful, let them decide if they want to make that click. The more you beg, the less you'll get. Cheers

Buy, try, if you don't like... return.

Be a little adventurous.

In the same boat. It’s a great looking monitor but it’s too big for my desk. I think 27” would be the sweet spot. But, all the equivalent spec’d 27” 1440p monitors are also well over $300. Hmmm....
