Why do they still make laptops without at least 1080p screens? It should be a crime in 2019 going into 2020.

Would you be able to recommend some places or certain laptops? In the market for a new one in that price range between $300-$500

Because if the resolution was higher the laptop would be priced accordingly. Some people want a beater laptop or to use it as desktop or for other applications and don't care about screen. Why is this so difficult for some to grasp?
