I agree Costco is much better, but they are sold out.

So like OP suggested, Staples is your best bet if you want one now.

Btw, does Staples charge restocking fee if we ever decide to return the iPad etc?

I don’t think so - I’ve returned electronics to staples and no charge before but that was a few years ago.

Any chance the new 10.2 inch model will go on sale for $300-350 anytime soon? They keyboard makes all the difference working on the iPad.

Thanks! I will return the Mini I bought last week and will keep this one. I found out that Mini is too small and I dont need the extra power (A12, ram) and storage, I mostly use for browsing, youtube, reddit. $150 saved

1.3% CB through GCR.
Seriously! The number of people who keep forgetting GCR usually has better rebates than Rakuten is astounding.

which year was it released ? 2018?

Seems like for $80 not worth going for older gen?

new gen is the same hardware except larger screen (and maybe faster charging?). Same processor, same ram.
If new gen had a new processor (A12) I think it would be a clear choice, but not in this case.

New one has an extra gig of ram, which is usually the deciding factor for Apple dropping OS support for older devices. Meaning the new one will stay supported for longer, despite the same processor.

If you're getting 32GB 80$ is a good chunk of the cost haha.

New one has a keyboard connector, which for some makes it worth an extra $80.00. Otherwise, you're right.
