Is this one has the same screen panel (60hz, 200nit) with the lower spec one at $899, if so maybe just save $300 buy that one. 4800H won't make a huge difference when paring with a 1650 GPU compare to 4600H.

Edit: from a quick search, this actually has the upgrade screen at 144hz, but I heard the Asus TUF has very bad thermal design, which is serious on a gaming laptop.

The Dell G5 with a 2060 posted earlier seems like a better deal if you can get it at the $1300 price.

Yeah I saw the Dell earlier but dont have a unidays code.

My main use for this laptop is trading and running broker software with some light video editing (nothing crazy, short youtube vids) while away from home for work. The combination of the processor, RAM and GPU fitted my needs, especially with the fact that I didnt want to open her up and start upgrading components while under manufacturers warranty, after that, then its an upgrade as and when needed.

It wont be moved around too much, pretty much from home to camp, camp to home.

The spec is here, looks the same. From youtube reviews, acer has better thermal...so $100 less for better thermal...hmm....

Way better options out there. You can still get the Ryzen 7 RTX 2060 Version for $1399.

Last week the Ryzen 9 2060 version was on sale for $1499 at Best Buy in store.

Should also specify discrete graphics in title, "GeForce GTX" is pretty wide ranging.
