[Staples] BUY ANY 2 HP TONERS, SAVE $40

With a lot of families homeschooling their kids these days, printer toners are draining quickly. Staples have this save 40 bucks on 2 HP toners and it's the good time for our HP printer users to stock up some toners.

Staples is still a bad place to buy toner it seems

For my printer (126a) each toner costs $81.99 * 2 - 40 = $124

at Amazon a 2 pack costs $128, so yeah a whopping $4 savings

I guess if you can get a $25 coupon that'd be worth it, but if it's only the $40 off, not a great deal

just looked at 123ink.ca they have a 2 pack for $117
shorter of breath and one day closer to death

Not a bad deal if you can price match + stack coupon on top. Don't forget to use cashback from GCR or Rakuten.

Although why people would buy OEM toner is beyond me.

$40 off, thats silly, they should instead include a package of toilet paper, that would make this a truly hot deal.
That said there are now several brands of aftermarket toner for most printer models, i have had good luck with them as have many people i know and mine is 80% cheaper ($20/toner vs $100/toner).
In fact in Rand McNally they wear hats on their feet and hamburgers eat people

Try to avoid HP devices and their firmware-based DRM.
Whenever someone asks a question that starts with "Why do they..." or "Why don't they...", the answer is always a) money, b) stupidity, or c) both.
